Tidelines ‘26 Report
After months of discussion, planning and recces, the first official Tidelines run finally took place last weekend.
An easy-going trail run along the Wales Coast Path, with like-minded people and no pressure other than to enjoy it.
We were super lucky with the weather - clear skies, sunshine, and a light sea breeze pretty much the whole way.
The 40km route had a bit of everything. Some tough climbs, some flowy runnable sections, and plenty of moments where you’d look up and remember why you signed up in the first place.
There were loads of opportunities to stop, take photos and soak it all in, with a feed station stop along the way supported by the Tidelines van.
Day one finished at Oxwich Bay - wood-fired saunas, sea dips, post-run drinks and good food, then a fire on the beach to round things off.
Sunday was even better! With perfect weather and blue skies, the group headed out for the final stretch back towards Mumbles Cricket Club, finishing with fresh wood-fired pizzas and a few well-earned drinks before everyone headed back home with a weekend adventure worth bragging about.
What we learned
We learned a lot - what worked, what didn’t, and how we can improve things for next time. But the main thing was everyone had an amazing time together.. Everyone took on the challenge in their own way, but the social, relaxed and inclusive vibe we were aiming for came through.
Thanks to everyone who came along and made it what it was. We hope to see you at the next one.
